The Mentor Center: How it works

People in your community are asking questions every day. Can I save my marriage? Are my kids ok? Could God really love me? Email mentoring gives you a chance to help with these questions, even if the person asking hasn’t stepped into your church yet.   The Mentor Center is an easy to use, web-based response system that allows you to engage with your audience like never before. Every connection can become a conversation.  For the cost of a monthly cell phone plan, you can have an online mentoring ministry. This is how The Mentor Center works:

A person goes to your website to submit a question. The question arrives in The Mentor Center as an email.

They are assigned to a mentor who engages in conversation with them over email.

If the mentor doesn’t feel comfortable answering the question, they can have the email reassigned or get coaching on how to respond.

Ready to get started? It’s easy:

STEP 1: Choose your package. TMC is available in several different packages to suit the needs of large and small groups.  We’ll do all the set-up to get your community up and running.

STEP 2: Recruit some mentors.  We can show how to find mentors or you can use our mentors to get started.  All mentors go through an online training process.

STEP 3: Generate emails. There are a million ways to connect your audience to TMC.  Use Facebook, your website, your resources and other media to offer mentoring.  A simple webcard is another great way to spread the word that mentoring is available.

STEP 4: Get mentoring! You will be amazed as you watch God use you and your team to reach out to others. Tell us your stories! We love to hear about what God is doing.
