Statistic Type Descriptions

TruthMedia uses many statistic types for our sites because we gather many parts and pieces of information to track what the audience visiting the site is reading. This information is provided for your review, but it does not necessarily mean that the same statistical tags should be used for every organization or website ministry.
Advice: content comprised of direct advice or “Q & A” information from a qualified counselor.
Archives-Chat: content consisting of archives of previous chat sessions.
Build: content that teaches someone how to have a closer walk with Christ.
Challenge: content that directly challenges someone to do outreaches in their community, give funding, go on a missions trip, etc.
Decision-for-Christ: content that defines an actual first-time decision for Christ as made.
Example: the follow-up page of a gospel presentation.
Decision-Holy-Spirit: content that defines an actual decision to be filled with Holy Spirit.
Example: the follow-up page of an Holy Spirit presentation.
Decision-rededication: content that defines an actual rededication decision for Christ.
Example: the follow-up page of a rededication challenge.
Devotional: the content of an online devotional or bible study.
Discipling: content that teaches someone how to disciple or mentor others, encourages them in doing this, gives examples, etc.
Exposure: content that either contains or completes a full gospel presentation, so that when having read this one has been fully exposed to the gospel.
Examples: The 4th Law, Finale of Journey of Joy, etc.
Feedback: the follow-up page of any feedback or response form.
Holy-Spirit: content that either contains or completes an Holy Spirit presentation.
Informational: content that is purely informational rather than spiritual in nature, so acts as a “hook” to promote site visits.
Examples: health, beauty, hobbies, family, recipes, etc.
Inspirational: content that inspires someone in their Christian walk, defined generally as “feel good” content.
Other: Content that doesn’t fit any of the other defined categories!
Pre-Exposure: content without direct spiritual presentation but that is (Christian) values-based in nature. This would include articles such as family training, morals, business ethics, etc.
Presentation: content that is part of a gospel or Holy Spirit or other similar presentation, but doesn’t actually complete the presentation.
Examples: Laws 1 - 3, all of Journey of Joy except finale, etc.
Recommend: the follow-up page of a “Send this page to a friend” or similar form.
Send: content that trains or encourages someone to be involved in personal evangelism in a locale other than their own.
Examples: part time, full time, short term trips, etc.
Testimony: content consisting of a “simple” testimony or life story that doesn’t include either a gospel presentation or Holy Spirit presentation, but may lead or point to one.
Testimony-Exposure: content consisting of a testimony or life story that includes a gospel presentation and/or challenge.
Testimony-Holy-Spirit: content consisting of a testimony or life story that includes a Holy Spirit presentation.
Train: content that trains someone in personal evangelism or evangelistic “how to” strategies.
Example: Evangelistic Parties, Victorian Teas, How to Write your Testimony, etc
