Mentors or study coaches who are willing and able to manage mentor communities by frequently reviewing community activity and supporting mentors through prayer and encouragement.

Expectations

The role of a community leader involves the following:
• Praying for the effectiveness of volunteers in your community
• Praying for God’s wisdom and discernment as volunteers respond
• Managing email activity of volunteers and ensuring they are prompt in responding to emails
• Adding and removing volunteers from communities
• Coaching mentors through difficult questions or requests as needed, better equipping them to maximize their potential as mentors
• Fielding basic technical questions re: the mentor software, and referring advanced questions to appropriate staff
• Communicating regularly with your community
• Managing daily emails for volunteers and reassigning emails when necessary
• Assisting Mentor Coordinator as needed with rebalancing the flow of requests from other communities
• Communicating with the Mentor Coordinator regarding vacations and time away

Requirements

• Must have served as an email mentor for at least 6 months
