From time to time a chatter is banned from one of our chat rooms. As a host we are left to field questions as to why this happened and to listen to regular chatters offer their opinions on the event. Our responsibility as chat hosts is to limit the gossip and continue on with ministry.

In such instances we are not required to discuss any detailed reasons as to why a person was banned. Our responses can communicate that the banned person did not follow the terms of service for the room. Allowing any further discussion on such issues can promote gossip and take away from the purpose of the room. As you lead chat, continue to ask for guidance from the Holy Spirit to lead with grace, compassion and purpose. God is faithful and He will do it!
