Well, though it was somewhat long in coming, we are releasing FormBuilder v. 0.50. Please be aware that there are numerous changes in this version including the following:

• Various CSS layout changes
• Added ability to separate label and value for radio buttons and select boxes with “value|label”.
• Changed required data field type from enum to text to allow greater flexibility.
• Added “any number” required data field.
• Added ability to load a custom CSS file which will over-ride the default css options.

You will also need to be aware that this software is still considered to be beta grade software and therefore may have undocumented features (or bugs).

The Private Site plugin adds code to the top of your theme to that requires a login to access your WordPress posts and pages.

This does not “secure” your site as feeds remain wide open for FeedBurner to find. It’s sort of like deadbolting your door but leaving your window open with only the screen on. If someone wants to view the feed they can.

It is useful for developing a site on a public server and testing out all aspects without actually making the site public.

Thanks to all of you who have tried the FormBuilder plugin and given us feedback on it. We’ve been working hard to squash the bugs and improve it based on your suggestions.

Version 0.42 squashes a number of bugs that were found in the previous versions, and adds the ability for additional pluginable modules to be developed. We’ve replaced the somewhat vague “action” text field, with a dropdown list of modules (yet to be developed) which can be used to process the form results.

We’re happy to announce the first public release of the FormBuilder Plugin for Wordpress. While obviously this is not our final release, it has many of the features we initially envisioned the plugin having. We’re calling this our public beta version 0.33.
