2012 marks the Centennial celebration of the Calgary Stampede. Power to Change is excited to have a partnership with Centre Street Church in Calgary who is planning a Calgary Stampede Outreach initiative.

TruthMedia’s film team recently wrapped up filming a new version of Erwin McManus’s Crave with Erwin’s team in Calgary. This film plus the Soul Cravings book, pancake breakfasts, and Drime teams (street drama) will be part of the outreach. In order to prepare for the outreach, Centre Street is encouraging their congregation to take our 35 Day Challenge.

Walk Along Side…
“Thanks for the encouragement and support. I will be meeting with my mentors this Monday. My parents are helping me not to worry and be so scared. I had a panic attack on Friday. I was tempted to cut myself but I haven’t. I am working hard in school. My midterms are this week. I only have a month and a half left of school. You would be a great preacher and or church leader. You have helped me come back to God. I never realized I was running away from God before when I was in my dark place. My roommates and I are now friends. I finally feel like I belong more. I am so grateful. I know this whole experience has made me a stronger person. I am trying to be a good role model. I appreciate you taking the time to email. .”
