Terri’s Tuesday Tip ~Emails do not disappear~
Greeting Mentors!
I’ve heard from a number of you about the number of emails in your inbox. Some mentors are receiving an influx and others are not receiving any. There is an issue with capacity that will be resolved within the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, for those receiving too many please reassign the messages that you cannot respond to.
After you have responded to an email in TMC it will NOT disappear like it did in ARC. TMC acts more like gmail or your own personal email inbox. You will have to close the email yourself in order for it to disappear from your inbox. To close, open up the email and clicked the close button on the top right corner. All closed emails are stored in your archive list. If the mentoree does send a reply back to you, it will show up in your inbox along with that thread of prior conversation.
Unless you are in the Youth/Teen Community and have gone through a criminal record check please do not respond to any dmlive emails. Instead reassign them to your community leader by clicking on the reassign button, who will then be able to send them to the Youth Community.
