It is true that having your content available on multiple URLs can cause issues with your page rank.

The issues we were referring to in this post were related specifically to a bug in WordPress that will hopefully be repaired in WP 2.5.

You can also ensure that you redirect to the non www site through htaccess. This site, http://no-www.org/ has more information on how to do that.</description>

		<description>I recently got scolded for having an unhealthy site. I have only been site building since Feb 1. I had never heard of Canonical redirection until I was scolded by an SEO from PRO-Webs.net.
     Once I heard of it I fixed it for the most part. I was unable to change the name of my file in my site builder but have changed all other links to my site and omitted the www. from everyone of them. Will it hurt to have the main file for my site saying www.?</description>
